In this position, within the complex and intricate world of the automotive industry, you will have the opportunity to learn more than at any Big4 or other organization, provided you utilize your talent. After spending 1.5-3 years here, you will have the opportunity to rotate to another area, thus continually expanding your professional knowledge. The varied tasks and continuous development opportunities create a challenging yet inspiring work environment.

Position Framework

The position is a so-called pool position. In this position, you will not start working in a specific team but will assist various teams in different projects. After approximately one month, you will transfer to your permanent place in one of the teams, where you will be dedicated to a specific market. Your final place will be determined based on the first month's experience and an internal matchmaking process. During the one month spent in the pool position, you will have a dedicated manager to help you get up to speed. Meanwhile, you will learn the company basics and get an introduction to the teams' operations.

Position Objective

The goal is to measure the company's past performance and forecast future performance. These insights need to be analyzed and summarized appropriately, then regularly communicated to the management. Due to the complexity of the automotive industry, you can learn more in this position than in similar roles at most other companies.

Tasks

The position involves controlling at the local or global level. It covers areas such as sales, revenue, production costs, and various other operating expenses. It is by no means a dry, bookkeeping task.

  • Revenue and Cost Control: Tasks include controlling revenue, revenue-reducing items, and sales costs. This involves preparing accruals and forecasts, coordinating with the sales company, estimating revenue recognition, and frequent communication with the sales team.
  • Closing and Forecasting Tasks: Tasks include controlling revenue, revenue-reducing items, and sales costs. This involves preparing accruals and forecasts, coordinating with the sales company, estimating revenue recognition, and frequent communication with the sales team.
  • Brand and Pricing Coordination: The role includes maintaining contact with market brand managers and pricing teams, reviewing and approving pricing, and identifying any arising discrepancies.

Forecasting and Analysis, Revenue Planning: Tasks include preparing forecasts and conducting analyses based on factual data.

Requirements

Advanced Excel skills are required (daily use of SUMIF, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH functions, and pivot table formulas).

A communicative and proactive personality with confident verbal and written English skills is necessary.

Selection Process

The process begins with a short phone conversation. This is followed by a ~1.5-hour Excel test at a pre-agreed time. If the test is successful, the selection process concludes with an interview.
